Sales force skills assessment
On-the-job assessment of the sales force to strengthen customer relations.
Client
Soufflet is a French family-owned agrifood group with an international presence. The group operates in key sectors such as wheat, barley, rice, and pulses, as well as providing support to winemakers. As the largest family-owned grain collector in Europe, Soufflet is also active in global grain markets through its subsidiary, Soufflet Négoce.
Objectives
Moulins Soufflet, part of the EPISENS wheat division of the InVivo cooperative, specializes in milling, transforming wheat into flour.
The commercial division aims to invest in training its sales teams to better respond to market changes and serve its customers more effectively. Since sales representatives frequently work in the field visiting clients, Moulins Soufflet required a flexible and efficient solution to support workplace-based training.
Daylindo Solution
Competency Framework Management:
Daylindo provided a digital interface to manage the competency framework and distribute digital evaluation grids, replacing the previously used Excel spreadsheets.Workplace-Based Training Pathways:
The commercial division expanded the initiative by implementing workplace-based training pathways to enhance identified skills.
Daylindo supported Moulins Soufflet by tailoring the platform's functionalities and adapting the instructional design to the specific requirements of workplace training.
These training pathways integrate both technical and transferable skills to create a well-rounded learning experience.
Results
"Since January 2024, all sector managers in the service division have completed their first training pathway and are now beginning a second, focused on supporting the merchandising efforts of bakery partners, following a targeted preparatory course.
This approach not only enables customized skill development but also fosters a more open and constructive dialogue with managers. Rather than merely following directives, employees are required to demonstrate the practical application of their newly acquired skills in real-world scenarios."
